Welcome to Illuminate Candle! By accessing or using our website (www.illuminatecandle.com), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Site.

  1. Acceptance of Terms

By using our Site, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to change or update these terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Site.

  1. Products and Services

Illuminate Candle offers a variety of handcrafted candles and related products. All product descriptions, images, and prices are subject to change without notice. While we strive to ensure that all information on the Site is accurate, we do not warrant that descriptions or other content are complete, reliable, current, or error-free.

  1. Ordering and Payment

When you place an order, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. All payments are processed securely through our payment gateway. By submitting your payment information, you authorise us to charge the amount due for your order.

  1. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping costs and delivery times will be provided at checkout. We aim to dispatch orders within 2 business days of receiving payment. Candle refills are made on the day your order is placed; please allow 3-4 working days for their delivery. We are not responsible for delays caused by factors outside our control, including postal or courier issues.

  1. Returns and Refunds

We offer a 14-day return policy on all products. To be eligible for a return, items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in a resalable condition. Contact us at admin@illuminatecandle.com to initiate a return. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7 days of receiving the returned item.

  1. Candle Refills

6.1 Availability and Ordering

Candle refills are available for purchase through our website. Ensure that you select the correct  type to match your existing candle holder. We strive to make refills compatible with our products.

6.2 Production and Delivery

Candle refills are made on the day your order is placed. Please allow 3-4 working days for delivery. We aim to dispatch refills within 2 business days of receiving payment.

6.3 Usage Instructions

Follow the usage instructions provided with your refill. Ensure the candle holder is clean and free from old wax before inserting a new refill. Improper use or failure to follow instructions may affect performance and potentially damage the candle holder.

6.4 Refunds and Exchanges

Due to the nature of candle refills, we cannot accept returns or exchanges once they have been used. If you receive a defective or incorrect refill, please contact us within 5 days of receipt for assistance. We will either provide a replacement or issue a refund.

6.5 Liability

Illuminate Candle is not liable for any damage caused by improper use of refills, including damage to the candle holder, surrounding surfaces, or personal injury. Always exercise caution and follow safety guidelines.

6.6 Compatibility

Ensure refills are used with the appropriate candle holder model specified by IL•LUMINATE Candle. Using refills with incompatible holders may result in poor performance or safety issues. We are not responsible for issues arising from using refills with non-compatible holders.

6.7 Environmental Impact

We encourage you to recycle or responsibly dispose of used refills and packaging materials. Supporting our sustainability efforts helps reduce environmental impact.

  1. Subscriptions

7.1 Subscription Management

You can manage your subscription by logging into your account to skip, pause, or cancel deliveries, or update your details. Subscription orders ship automatically (every 4, 8, or 12 weeks), and you must notify us 24 hours before the next order is placed to cancel. Once a subscription order is processed, it cannot be cancelled or refunded.

7.2 Age and Location Requirements

You must be 18 or over and have a UK address to set up a subscription.

7.3 Delivery and Amendments

Free delivery on subscriptions is for UK Standard delivery only. We aim to dispatch your first delivery with UK Standard delivery, subject to stock availability. Subscription deliveries will occur at the frequency chosen (every 4, 8, or 12 weeks). We reserve the right to amend these dates.

7.4 Skipping Deliveries

You can request to skip a subscription delivery via your account. The next delivery will be skipped and resume on the following scheduled delivery.

7.5 Cancellation and Payment

Subscriptions must be cancelled 24 hours before the next order is placed. Cancellation requests after this time are not eligible for a refund. A valid payment card is required upon registration. Failed payment attempts will be retried 3 times. Unsuccessful payments or expired cards will result in non-shipment of the subscription. You will be notified of payment issues.

7.6 Discounts and Pricing

No discount codes can be applied to subscription orders unless specified. Prices are subject to change.

  1. Intellectual Property

All content on the website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of IL•LUMINATE Candle or our content suppliers and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content from the website without prior written permission.

  1. User Conduct

You agree to use the website for lawful purposes only and not to engage in any activity that could harm or disrupt the Site or its services. Prohibited activities include uploading harmful or illegal content, impersonating others, or unauthorised use of the website’s systems.

  1. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, IL•LUMINATE Candle shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or products purchased from it. Our liability for direct damages is limited to the amount you paid for the product or service.

  1. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless IL•LUMINATE Candle and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Site, violation of these Terms and Conditions, or infringement of third-party rights.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.
